Red Cabbage – Drumhead

Six seedlings in a punnet

brassica oleracea – Annual – Height 25 cm x 30 cm

Year-round growing in most areas. Ball shaped head maturing from 70 days. Grows well in good garden soil that was manured and composted well for the previous crop. Keep watered during dry spells.

Stores well. Makes great pickle, may be steamed or use fresh in salads
