Violet Sicilian Cauliflower  – Italian Heirloom

Six seedlings in a punnet

brassica oleracea – Annual – Height 50 cm x 30 cm

Plant in well-drained, fertile soil high in organic matter in late summer or early spring. Needs plentiful, consistent moisture. Mulch to protect roots and reduce weed competition. Flower head looks like a cross between a broccoli and a cauliflower.

May be eaten raw in salads, steamed or stir fried.
