Kale – Gourmet Mix – Cavolo Nero, Red Russian, Squire

Two varieties of each (Six in total) in a punnet

brassica oleracea – Biennial grown as an annual
Height 50 cm x 50 cm


A mix of Kale Cavolo Nero, Kale Red Russian and Kale Squire. (Occasionally we may substitute.) Prefers full sun but can benefit from light shade during hot weather. Plant in well-drained, fertile soil high in organic matter. Provide plentiful, consistent moisture. Can tolerate drought, but quality and flavour of leaves suffer.

Harvest: Ready to harvest from 50 days
Uses:
 Lightly steam, stir fry, use as a salad

 

Shipping

We ship Monday - Wednesday to both North and South Island. We can
ship on a Thursday to local in Nelson. We have overnight and two day
courier options. Please allow two days for a rural address (non-urban).
