Seedlings in a 90 mm pot

salvia officinalis – Perennial
Height 50 cm x 50 cm

Sage likes a dryish situation, hates wet feet. Excellent for pot cultivation.

Grow in any good soil in full sun. In spring, trim established plants back by a third to encourage new growth. Once the flowers have finished in December/January, trim the plant back again.

After a few years, plants become quite woody and less productive. Plan a year ahead to replace them.

Uses:
 Used to flavour poultry and pork, with roasted vegetable. Very pretty addition to the herb garden.

ship on a Thursday to local in Nelson. We have overnight and two day
courier options. Please allow two days for a rural address (non-urban).
