Several seedlings in a 90mm pot
mentha spicata – Perennial
Height 60 cm x 50 cm
Harvest in second year after planting
Mint can be terribly invasive, particularly in rich, moist soil. To keep it from overtaking your garden, confine it to a bed with edging of metal or plastic, or plant in a large pot.
Grows well in most soils, prefers part shade. Prune plants back hard in early summer to promote good top growth. Clip leaves or branches as needed throughout the year.
